A free series with practices from Kundalini Yoga and inspired by the teachings of Guru Nanak

TheĀ Open Practice SeriesĀ is an invitation to anyone who would like to learn and practice foundational meditations from kundalini yoga, in community.

The intention of the series is:

  • To create a foundation for beginners interested in Kundalini Yoga
  • To gather together in community to meditate
  • To uplift others through the power of the field we generate together

The Series Includes

Meditations:
Mantras that originate with Guru Nanak (who was born in 1469 and died in 1539 in India), combined with breathing patterns and mudras to create an uplifting experience.

Discussions:
Topics to deepen one’s understanding of Kundalini Yoga and the human psyche, including how to meditate, the practice of Naam Japa, the relationship between ego and soul, the recognition of oneness, the power of the word, and embracing the shadow.

A handout will be provided for each of the sessions along with a video recording of the live practice for you to revisit on your own.

The Practice Series is:

  • Inspired by Kundalini Yoga and the teachings of Guru Nanak
  • An online live series with chanting and discussions
  • Facilitated by Sat Dharam and other instructors
  • Everyone is invited – these sessions are free and open to all
  • You are welcome to join the session at any time during the call although instructions will be provided at the start
  • Attend the full session or part of it as you are able
