Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, Amritsar

Participate to receive certification in Sat Dharam Kaur’s 200-hr Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Program, or to immerse yourself in the practice of Kundalini Yoga. This course provides the foundation to be able to teach specialized courses, including the Beyond Addiction Program, and the Healthy Breast Program. Course Dates:

November 27 – December 19, 2024 in-person (200 hours)
from 8:00am to 6:00pm daily with some extra evening events

Daily early morning sadhana and visits to the Golden Temple are included outside of the training hours.

Participants will have free access after the training to Sat Dharam Kaur’s online yoga classes (Tues and Wed from 6:30-8 am ET) and monthly Open Practice Series Meditations in 2025.

Sat Dharam Kaur will be the lead instructor, teaching at least 150 hours, with guest instructors, Daya Kaur and Sahiba.
Optional Online Yoga Classes

(20 are required with any certified KY teacher)

Sat Dharam teaches online every Tues and Wed morning. You will need to complete 20 yoga classes outside of class time with any certified Kundalini Yoga teachers after the training ends.

Daily Morning Sadhana

4:15 am – 6:30 am

(5 are required)

You will need to complete at least 5 morning sadhanas during the training. More than that are optional. You are welcome to join the morning sadhanas any time. (no charge)

 

The venue of the program is within steps of the Golden Temple, where you can renew your devotion and spiritual connection, regardless of your faith. The beautiful sound of Gurbani music reverberating through the Golden Temple is a healing balm for the soul.

Accommodation:

Accommodation can be ashram style, adjacent to the Yoga Shala, or at nearby hotels.

Yoga Shala accommodation includes a shared apartment, with several rooms and 2-3 separate beds in each room, plus 3 meals, water and tea daily. It is also possible to request a single room.

Amenities include cotton sheets and quilts; a personal safe; kettle and herbal tea; water-purifier to drink clean water; herbal soap; self-laundry facilities; rooftop patio; internet access. Each floor includes two bathrooms and one shower facility with hot water.

Yoga Shala Meals:

Breakfast: porridge, homemade bread and butter, tea or coffee, fruit, nuts, toast, and honey
Lunch: vegetables, daal, naan, rice, homemade chutney with herbs for digestion.
Dinner: fruit, nuts, beans and rice, chapati
Yoga Shala Cost for Accommodation and Food: 2000 rupees/night (about $35 CAD)

Instructors

Sat Dharam is a Kundalini Yoga teacher trainer and instructor, author, and naturopathic doctor practicing in Owen Sound, Ontario. She has studied Kundalini Yoga since 1976 and has facilitated teacher training programs in Toronto (ON), Canmore (AB), and New Mexico.
