Would you like to end the year with 2 days of meditation, yoga and reflection? Do you benefit from spiritual practice in a shared group setting?

We invite you to join Sat Dharam Kaur and Har-Prakash Khalsa in an end-of-year in-person meditation retreat in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada, to nurture stillness, equanimity and peace. We will be practicing mindfulness meditation, kundalini yoga, pranayam and mantra, with group discussion to connect and reflect.

The objectives of the retreat are to:

  • metabolize your experiences of the past year
  • arrive at a place of stillness and equanimity
  • develop mindful awareness
  • acknowledge your growth and achievements
  • nurture self-compassion
  • learn tools for self-regulation
  • set intentions for the new year

What to bring:

  • meditation cushion or sitting bench
  • yoga mat
  • water bottle
  • journal/notebook and pen
  • shawl or meditation blanket

Chairs are available if you prefer to sit on a chair.

Water and tea will be available throughout the retreat. Space limited to 25 participants.

Owen Sound is 2.5 hours north of Toronto.

Food: We will visit local restaurants for lunch and dinner on both days, or you can bring your own food.

Instructors

Sat Dharam is a Kundalini Yoga teacher trainer and instructor, author, and naturopathic doctor practicing in Owen Sound, Ontario. She has studied Kundalini Yoga since 1976 and has facilitated teacher training programs in Toronto (ON), Canmore (AB), Owen Sound, Amritsar (India), and New Mexico. Har-Prakash Khalsa started as a student of Zen meditation in 1984 and went on to become a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor and teacher of Mindfulness meditation in the systematic style of Shinzen Young (whom Har-Prakash has studied intensively with since 1999).
